Macro Recorder Plus records desktop keyboard and mouse input, but its main focus is what happens after recording: each event becomes an editable action in a structured workflow.

The PySide6 interface supports recorded input alongside manual steps such as opening a URL, typing text, waiting, clicking an image, launching a program, and adding comments. Workflows can be replayed in the app or exported as Python scripts and optional Windows executables.

Exported scripts include their runtime requirements and launcher files. Secret actions store an environment-variable name rather than a password, keeping credentials out of saved macro files.
